Consultant at the Royal Brompton Hospital as well as Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. He specialises in all aspects of paediatric respiratory medicine including both tertiary and secondary care. He is the Director of Paediatric Cystic Fibrosis at the Brompton, the largest paediatric clinic in the UK.

He is recent past President of British Paediatric Respiratory Society. His current research interests are pulmonary hypertension in CF, health issues of air travel, and use of home oxygen.
